My Top 25 CN Show 25-21

Top 25 Cartoon Network Show(My Personal List) 25-21

Last Edited: 6 April 2014(seldom edit cause a lot of shit cartoons keep on coming)

And so where the days where Cartoon Network used to be one of the best channels for kids(for 20 years 1992-2012). WOW! Seriously this channel offers a tons of variety of cartoons that kids enjoy. We can put a lot of list about this, 100 of them. But which is the best of the best? That's why I create this top 25 list to ensure that I pick the best and my personal favourites. I'm also picking a few of Warner Bros. cartoons because they are awesome and nostalgic. And another thing is I have to be able to watch them no matter in TV or in Youtube.

Honourable  mentions...Cartoon Network is a great show with too many great cartoons, unfortunately some of the cartoons didn't really make it on the list for some reasons so here are 5 that didn't made it to the list ranking 30th-26th respectively.

Codename Kids Next Door
Ben 10(original series)
Courage the Cowardly Dog
Xiaolin Showdown

Anime Series like Pokemon, Beyblade or Dragon Ball Z will never be included too mostly because they are not CN show, mostly Japanese anime.

Without further ado, let's jump in....

Number 25
What-A-Cartoon Show

This show is one of CN earliest show back when CN is in its early stages. It premieres 79 cartoons in one show. Some of these cartoons then turn to become famous like Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, Powerpuff Girls, Codename Kids Next Door etc. Also showing a bit of Flintstones, Cow and Chicken and Sheep in Big City. Just imagine that you want all the Cartoon characters to be in one show, actually it really happen......

Number 24

The Marvelous Misadventure of Flapjack

The series revolves around Flapjack and Captain K'nuckles. Flapjack is a young boy raised by a talking whale named Bubbie. Flapjack leads a peaceful life until the duo rescues a pirate by the name of Captain K'nuckles, who tells Flapjack of a place called Candied Island, which is made completely of candy. Inspired by the adventurous pirate, Flapjack, Captain K'nuckles and Bubbie get into strange predicaments and "misadventures" in search of candy, Candied Island and the coveted title of "Adventurer". The three spend most of their time in Stormalong Harbor, their place of residence, and home to many strange characters. One thing I like about this show is that it contains a very odd humor and art style.

Number 23
Thumb Wrestling Federation

Thumb Wrestling Federation aka TWF for short has been one of my favourite CN shorts of all time. Not that stupid Wallace and Gromit or any crappy Sushi Pack. This show is good too. It has a storyline for every season. And it also takes wrestling to a new unit by adding tons of interesting effects in the match. The rival between the protagonists, the Dexteras and the antagonists the Sinistras are so intensely epic. This show have a balance of mixed characters and wrestlers to show your favorite not like the bad guys aren't totally bad you know. Sadly, the show was cancelled halfway through season 4 and it never show season 5 and 6(minus the Philippines and the UK). Thankfully season 5 is uploaded into Youtube thanks to this user http://www.youtube.com/user/ThatGirlWithTheCards .

Number 22
Johnny Bravo

Johnny Bravo is a muscular beefcake man named Johnny Bravo who dons a pompadour hairstyle and an Elvis Presley-like voice and has a forward, woman-chasing personality. Plots typically revolve around him trying to get a woman that he has targeted throughout the episode to fall in love with him. He is often beaten up or stunned by his target or companions, or is ditched by them in the end. Hahahaa, this is one type of humor that is a must watch on CN.

Number 21
Adventure Time

CN show nowadays are so crappy. However thankfully, Adventure Time is not one of them(although I admit its graphics-wise kinda sucks). It started out as a random short in Nickelodeon but after a success, the creator decides to port it to CN and it really works. But don't sweat it, the storyline of this Cartoon is good, one of the best in CN. Lots of episodes, interesting characters especially Jake the stretchable dog and the useless Ice King. This could actually turn out to be one the best shows if it haven't lack of reputation criticism from viewers.

My Top 25 CN Shows 20-16

My Top 25  CN Show 20-16

Number 20
Regular Show

Well this show is quite new, must be your newest favourite. :P. Nobody watches CN nowadays right. This is a random cartoon show revolves around Mordecai(Blue Jay Bird) and Rigby(The Raccoon). Yes, I'm a big fan of random cartoons(cartoons that has no story line, every episode stands by itself). There are a lot of interesting characters like Benson(the gumball machine), Skips(the yeti), Muscle Man, High-Five Ghost Pops. Watching this show feels like watching Foster's Home of Imaginary Friend.

Number 19
Green Lantern: Animated Series

Superheroes cartoons basically are one of the best right? True, not some local heroes or Japanese Ultraman or Gundam but the one you can find in DC Comics or Marvel. Here is a short animated 3D-like cartoon mainly focusing on one of DC's character, Green Lantern. I saw it on Youtube as it was not available in Asia. Yah, a short one that only contains 1 season which is why it is not high on the list. It is just OK to watch and well, I'm never a big fan of DC.

Number 18
Chowder

Ah, one of my personal favourites of all time, Chowder is a great comedy series of a boy who works in Mung Daal's restaurant and well, boy he loves to eat. Shintzel the tall rock like monster that makes all those grunting noises, Panini the annoying girl that loves Chowder and of course, Truffles the grumpy old lady. Gazpacho the woolly mammoth who sells lots of weird stuff. This settings mysteriously takes place in a food city or what Gumball Planet??(haven't watch this toon in a long time; forget about everything).

Number 17
Megas XLR

I watch this when I was very little and I don't understand the story. It is actually a basic series showing about mecha-robots animation. Only have 2 season 2004-2005 but CN is discussing about bringing this show back. It is short yet cool, can have a competition with Transforemers for the best animated series.

Number 16
The Powerpuff Girls

Powerpuff Girls in not a cartoon for girls you know. I enjoy watching this show too. The show centers on Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, three girls with superpowers, as well as their "father", the brainy scientist Professor Utonium, who all live in the city of Townsville, USA. The girls are frequently called upon by the town's childlike and naive mayor to help fight nearby criminals using their powers. Mojo Jojo is the evil villian in this series together with his group of  group of villians.

My Top 25 CN Show 15-11

Number 15
Dexter's Laboratory

Dexter's Laboratory...very interesting cartoon I watch when I was young. This show features about a genius-boy Dexter always inventing something but then his elder sister Dee Dee always tries to annoy or ruin it. Then we also have Mandark the main antagonists of this show. An evil boy who always wanted to be smarter then Dexter and always tries to foil up his invention but he has a crush on Dee Dee.

Number 14
Camp Lazio

Camp Lazio shows about a group of Boy-Scout camp with a cast of anthropomorphic characters, creating a 'retro' feeling of humor. What else can I say about this show is that every characters stands its own personalities. Like, Lazio the happy-go-lucky monkey, Taj the indian elephant, Clam the small stupid white rhino, Edward the foul-tempered platypus and maybe that Scoutmaster moose. Great surroundings and beautiful design.

Number 13
Star Wars The Clone Wars

Alright, Star Wars the ever popular space theme movie convert into cartoon-with beautiful 3D like design graphics, perfect eh? Lucasfilm started releasing this show in 2008 and continues on until March 7 this year(minus Asia where it is cancel to make way for Oggy and the cockroaches). I don't really watch much of Star Wars so I don't know much about the storyline. Whatever it is this is one of the most anticipated animated series you can watch. P.S. I think Yoda is some sort of goblin...

Number 12
Teen Titans

Robin, Cyborg, Starfire, Raven and Beast Boy are the main heroes of teen titans. You can bet they are teens but actually I don't really think they are. They like to maintain their secret identities all the time. Teen Titans is a great superhero series that each heroes have special unique abilities too. My favourite is Beast Boy mostly because he an transform to an animal and attack. Also own by DC comics, now they even release Teen Titans Go! as a new but terrible series. The series and with a movie call Trouble in Tokyo like Ben 10, Ed Edd Eddy and Tom and Jerry.

Number 11
Batman The Brave and Bold

Batman is my favourite DC superhero. This series is way much better the original. Featuring a new art-style tons of characters other then Robin. They are Aquaman, Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, Plastic Man and Red Tornado. Excellent fun to watch series you can spend hour getting addicted to it. If only they released a live-action movie about it too.

My Top 25 CN Show 10-6

Number 10
Ed, Edd n Eddy

What do people think about Ed,Edd n Eddy? Parents: They hate this show, Reason: Dunno why. Kids: They love this show, Reason: Because it is so intense. Ed,Edd n Eddy is probably best and most successful random show (from 1999-20099 10 years, WOW!!!) Don't be fool by its awful art-style and kindergarten like color but Ed, Edd n Eddy is a great shows that show three adolescent boys Ed(the dim witted one), Edd otherwise known as Double D(the naive but most intelligence among the Eds) and Eddy(the shorty but kind of tough guy). A lot of their friends play a major role in the series probably Jonny and Mike the Plank are my favourites. The reason why this show is not really that high on the list because I don't really enjoy as much as the top shows and I think the art-like style really sucks...

Number 9
Justice League Unlimited

DC and Marvel really have been a competitor eh? Well in Marvel all the heroes in action are call Avengers but in DC we call it Justice League Unlimited. A lot of heroes working together in action like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern and 100 more characters. Still not really a fan of DC as I said before....

Number 8
The Grimm Adventures of Billy and Mandy

One of my personal favourite series featuring Grimm Reaper, Billy the dumb low IQ boy and Mandy the grumpy girl making friends with Grimm who lost a limbo contest to them.Cool series with a nice humour to laugh about and that's why I like this show better then Ed,Edd n Eddy. Its storyline is good too and have more interesting characters an settings.

Number 7
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends

One of the best art design and shows of CN is this show. The series is set in a world where childhood imaginary friends coexist with humans and is set in an orphanage. designed for outgrown or abandoned imaginary friends in which they may reside until adoption by another child. Once the children outgrow them, the friends move to Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, where they stay until other children come to adopt them. After being forced to abandon his imaginary friend Bloo, a young boy named Mac bargains with the caretakers and employees working at Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends; that they guard Bloo from adoption so long as Mac continues to visit the center daily. The series focuses on the escapades experienced by the mischievous Bloo, Mac, and the array of eccentric, colorful characters inhabiting Foster's Home, or the obstacles with which they may be challenged. Wilt, Eduardo and Coco and some of my well known favourite characters. Also Madame Foster, the caretaker of the house and Mac's grandmother of Foster.

Number 6
Scooby Doo

As I say it before Warner Bros(formerly known as Hanna-Barbera before 1969) produces a lot of great cartoons. This is a mystery-ghost cartoon that has unique storyline and is fun to watch. Over the years a lot of series have been produced however original is still the champ. Catch out five friends Scooby Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma on their adventure to find mystery about ghosts. I think this is a reference to the Famous Five or something. Each of the characters have funny different characteristics.

Number 5
Tom and Jerry Show

One of the long-time successive cartoons since 1940s Tom and Jerry is a popular hit that wins the heart of children and even adults too. Plot always shows Jerry the smart sneaky sly mouse trying to steal some cheese or maybe because Ma'am boots fears him and Tom jobs is to basically kick Jerry out. Jerry always have a plan to escape cause he is smart but Tom is smart too as he always trying to figure out a plan too. (Not like Oggy and the cockroaches). Butch the Cat sometimes aids Tom, then Spike the bulldog that is overprotective of his some Tyke. Many great episodes and they even come out quite a lot of series and...movie. Among my favourites are:

Tom and Jerry: The Movie(1993)
Tom and Jerry: Fast and Furious(2006)
Tom and Jerry: Shivers Me Whiskers'(2006)

What sometimes this show can show that they can become friends too handle a certain situations instead of being foes the whole time.

Number 4
Space Ghost Coast to Coast

Here is a superhero cartoon that people rarely watch. One of the classics by Hanna-Barbera(now known as Warner Bros.) There are actually a few format for this cartoon. The original one mainly show some classic-space superhero adventures while this series focuses on some serious talks. It is voted as one of the best animated series for adults. Main characters are Space Ghost, Zorak the mantis-like alien and Moltar the red suit solider. I like the original format better then Coast to Coast mostly because I don't know what they are babbling about. Despite all those cancellation of show and each episodes only last about 5 minutes this can be one of the best CN shows.

Number 3
The Secret Saturdays

The best adventure series on CN yet. The series follows the adventures of the Saturdays Zack, Doc, Drew and Doyle, a family of crytozoologists.  that work to keep the truth about cryptids from getting out, in order to protect both the human race and the creatures themselves. The main villain V.V. Argost always tries to capture those cryptids and it is up to the Saturdays to their job.Traveling all over the world, the Saturdays explore ancient temples and bottomless caves, and battle with villains. But Zack is never along as he got pets, Fiskerton the giant cat, Komodo and Zon the pterodactyl.

Number 2
Samurai Jack

Award Winner:
Best Music in Animated Film
Best Art Design in Cartoons
Best Storyline in Animated Series
Best Character Design
Best blah blah blah

I watch this one when I was very little and don't understand the story. But luckily You Tube still have this and watching it was like WOW! I kind of understand why it win awards. Everything about this cartoon is perfect, unique, devastating, stunning......What is it about? Jack, the son of the Fuedal Japaese Emperor always goes on a solo mission to try and defeat Aku who capture his father. Jack traveled around the world to prepare both physically and mentally for his confrontation with Aku. He studied a lot of skills and tricks from scholarships all over around the world. Together with all his skills, he try to defeat Aku minions and rescue his Dad. Haven't watch the series fully yet. This cartoon contains very little dialogue and more actions which is a change from those normal cartoons.

And Now...What is the best and my all-time favourite cartoon yet??????

Number 1
The Road Runner Show

BEEP! BEEP! That is what the Road Runner always does. Best humor cartoon, this is probably one of my most watch cartoon on CN last time but it is really still one of the best. 2 years from now and it is turning into its 50th anniversary. Plot basically features Coyote trying to catch Road Runner that is too fast for him. So he always tries to lay a trap on it. You would seriously love to watch him fail I believe the Coyote never succeeded in catching the Road Runner as far as all the episodes I watch. Great classics cartoons can help you to relaxed when you're in tension or wanting to get away from your schoolwork.

And that is all the great shows I watch. It is one of the steps that inspire my ambition and well.....Cartoon Network turn into a shitass from 2013 onwards. So....

                                                         Cartoon Network 1992-2012

Oh yah, Uncle Grandpa, Problem Solverz, Secret Mountain Fort are shitty ass too........ ;(

Edit: Heck, yeah you made it through the ending. You may notice that I include some non CN shows right? Well, mostly because I simply love Warner Bros. Cartoons. However, here is a list that show only CN shows, thank you for viewing.
